There’s also insulting them or hitting them. That always gets attention, in an unpleasant though.

do some nasty tricks like April Fools jokes or even spreading rumors that you have started, or to look as if you’re spying some people…
Just wanna add that sometimes the best way to attract and hold someone’s attention is to simply make the relationship/communication all about the other person. It sure worked with my girlfriend!
