Give Porsche €380,000 – roughly $494,000 USD, and you can be the owner of a 2009 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. Powered by a six-cylinder 4.0-litre engine mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox, this insane beast proves its badness by generating nothing less than 450hp (331kW) and 430Nm of torque.

I’ll take two please. After I win the lotto that is.
Too “racy” for normal streets. Doesn’t mean I don’t want one though!
Like the old Will Smith line from Independence Day -
“I have got to get me one of these!”
awesome…
For the super riches, I’m sure this car will be a very nice addition to their collection. But for the “normal” people like me (and I’m sure many of us reading this), this dream car will take a lifetime to acquire.
This is amazing. A 4 LITRE engine producing 450hp. It’s mind blasting!! I can’t believe how the engineers at Porsche are coming up with this. Let’s give a simple comparison. I’m sure everyone knows about the Audi R8. It has 4.2 L engine that generates 414 hp. A difference of 36hp. Let’s ignore some of the factors like weight and that the Audi R8 is a car that can driven “almost” everyday (Except when it’s raining cats, in a tornado/monsoon, etc.), and focus in on the engine and it’s specs. It’s just amazing. Good job Porsche!
Porsche is in a class all it’s own. Tami didn’t believe me until she took a test drive in a 2009 997S and saw how much more refined it is than her E92 M3. Don’t get me wrong… the M3 is a fabulous car (and quite aggressive looking stock I might add), but a bit of a pig compared to the 997 series.
Next time I win the lottery I’ll look into it. I figure it’s gonna take me a “few” years to be able to afford one of these, haha
