American Express Black Centurion Card

American Express Centurion Card

Although other companies like Bank of America and Citigroup released their own prestigious credit cards, none of them trump the exclusive Centurion Card from American Express. For big spenders in the world, the classy black card made of titanium comes with perks like travel discounts, hotel upgrades, jet service, and even a personal concierge.

Formerly available by invitation only, the Centurion Card now requires a request as well as a minimum annual spending of $250,000. There is a US $5,000 one-time initiation fee for new card holders, plus the annual fee of US $2,500. For wealthy patrons with shopping addictions, this shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Eeek. I don’t even make anywhere near $250,000 a year! And that $5k initiation fee seems steep for the amount of interest they’ll be making from such huge purchases. I guess you have to pay to play.
