Up and coming Latino comedian Anjelah Johnson does a hilarious reenactment of her experience at a Vietnamese nail salon. Born and raised in San Jose, CA (the pho and nail salon capital of the world), Anjelah must of had many opportunities to perfect her Vietnamese accent, because her rendition of “Mai Ling” doing her nails is perfect.
The former 24-year-old Raiderette recently placed 2nd at the 2006 California’s Funniest Female Contest, but I think she should have taken 1st!

Just asked one of my friends to translate, and apparently she’s not saying a single word of Vietnamese at the end.
i figured that much, although it sounded pretty authentic.
Getting a manicure does mean you have to be LOST IN TRANSLATION. hehehe, she’s pretty good pulling off reality jokes. Does she ever tried comedy central before?
