Up and coming Latino comedian Anjelah Johnson does a hilarious reenactment of her experience at a Vietnamese nail salon. Born and raised in San Jose, CA (the pho and nail salon capital of the world), Anjelah must of had many opportunities to perfect her Vietnamese accent, because her rendition of “Mai Ling” doing her nails is perfect.
The former 24-year-old Raiderette recently placed 2nd at the 2006 California’s Funniest Female Contest, but I think she should have taken 1st!

Hilarious! Her access is awesome! I’d put her accent up there with Russel Peter’s accents.

she’s really pretty and talented. encore!
try checking the comments in youtube to see if there’s a translation of her vietnamese spiel.

Just asked one of my friends to translate, and apparently she’s not saying a single word of Vietnamese at the end.

Getting a manicure does mean you have to be LOST IN TRANSLATION. hehehe, she’s pretty good pulling off reality jokes. Does she ever tried comedy central before?

If she’s a Raiderette, does that mean before she had joined the Oakland Raiders’ cheerleading squad???

haha, thought so.
but you have to admit, she’s good. she can make her “vietnamese” gibberish sound authentic.
