Apple iMac

Just when you thought the iMac couldn’t get any sexier, Apple releases an all-new, all-in-one beauty that changes your mind. The new iMac is available is either 20-inch ($1199) or 24-inch ($1799) widescreen models that rock new features like the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, built-in iSight video camera, ATI Radeon HD graphics and a new ultra-thin keyboard.

Apple designer Jonathan Ive never fails to amaze me with these beautiful designs. What are you waiting for? Head to the Apple store and get one today!

    Coincidently I went to the Apple store today down at the Eaton Center. I’m not much fan of the Apple but I do admire its stability and its large sharp screen. GUI customization is much more accessible to XP when it comes to changing and customizing Windows. All those niddy-griddy window hacks. Windows is still a go for me, unless Apple has more compatibility with software and upgradeable hardware. My opinion is biased but I still stand as an XP user. I just love Apple screens.

    I’m really liking this variation of the iMac. It’s almost like just having a screen. :D

    Vista is already out, – or you’re in another part of the world. Unless you’re talking about the new unreleased Windows 7 thats going to be hit shelves out in 2009-2010.

    @David

    I would contradict that comment about GUI customization based on the soul fact that OS X is based off of the UNIX system or Linux. Linux is known to be one of the easiest and best OS to comply with GUI customization, even better than Windows.

    I will agree that it lacks built-in applications to change the GUI which Linux has [never understood why Apple did that], but with one program you have a whole array of GUI customization at your disposal.

    Add to those droolworthy looks the fact that the new iMacs are a step towards a (somewhat) more eco-friendly company, and Apple is set to become one of the coolest companies of the twenty-first century.

    No doubt intentional, but one has to commend Apple for their attention to detail – the new iMacs and the recently released iPhones are a perfect match. I can only imagine the kind of awe this set would inspire on any desk. And while neither of these are available in South Africa yet (which might be a good thing, considering my current lack of funds), I can’t wait to proclaim that I too have entered the elite group of individuals who have made the move to Mac OSX (Windows Media Player gets trigger-happy each time I plug in my iPod, and for some reason tries valiantly to play the movies on it), abandoning cluttered desktops and noisy, bulky towers for a streamlined computer that elegantly floats mid-air …
