iPhone 3G S

Apple today introduced the new iPhone 3G S, the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet, packed with incredible new features including improved speed and performance–up to twice as fast as iPhone 3G–with longer battery life, a high-quality 3 megapixel autofocus camera, easy to use video recording and hands free voice control. iPhone 3G S includes the new iPhone OS 3.0, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 100 new features such as Cut, Copy and Paste, MMS*, Spotlight Search, landscape keyboard and more.

iPhone 3G S customers get access to more than 50,000 applications from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, the largest application store in the world where customers have already downloaded over one billion apps. iPhone 3G S offers twice the capacity for the same price with a 16GB model for just $199 and a new 32GB model for just $299.

    The best phone ever!

I wish they offered an upgrade price for current owners instead of having to pay all over again.

Yeah, iPhone is a good thing, but not in Europe. I mean central Europe, here it isn’t so much compatible with other devices. But if I would live in US I will definitely have one.

My favorite thing about my Iphone 3G was the video function (which I had to download), now that it comes standard, I hope the quality is even better. The 3G and 3GS look identical to me, which is good for the 3G owners as their phone won’t look outdated.
I’ll stick with what I have.

my problem with the Iphone is still the camera quality. my 3+year old nokia n95 has a 5mp with xenon flash. a decent camera always in my pocket is by far my favorite feature and i can not believe apple left out the flash on their upped camera spec.

i’ve always been against getting an iphone, but i must admit that i’ve been won over by my friends and fam who have shown me what their iphone is doing for them.

my ideal: a nokia iphone ripoff. everyone knows nokia makes the best phones. period.

A standard needs to be created so all phones from all brands on all networks (including computers with webcams) can video call with each other. (If hardly anyone can talk with each other, like if you could only talk to other iPhone owners, it won’t ever catch on)

Cell networks need to be dramatically improved to allow for anything close to wide-spread usable quality. (people need to just know that video calling will work no matter where they are before they start regularly using it. If it seems spotty, they’ll just forget about it)

Until then it will be an extremely buggy, gimmicky feature that you might use to show off but when it came down to it, would sit idle. They’re BARELY getting MMS standardized between different carriers (even just a few years ago it was big news that Verizon and Sprint could send pictures to each other) and phones and imagine how simple that is compared to live streaming video.

share your views at http://www.iPhone3GS.org it’s just for the iPhone 3G s.

also had to laugh at this:
”the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 100 new features such as Cut, Copy and Paste, MMS*”
andoid is the most advanced mobile operating system…. and my g1 has been better than this new iphone for over 6 months…

iphone is not the only hitech phone around now, but that wont stop all the sheep thinking it is….
    ANDROID FTW!

I think the camera is now 3MP against 2MP before. Am I right?
