iPhone Activated
Yes!!! Finally, after being on the phone since Friday night with AT&T Customer Care, their activation department, and Apple Tech Support trying to get my phone activated… my Apple iPhone finally works!

If there ever was a test of patience, it was trying to get my iPhone activated. I kid you not when I tell you I was on hold for a total of over 20 hours and talked to over 30 agents. I swore I’d return this darn thing, if it wasn’t activated by today, but luckily it finally is.

Now that I can get past the activation screen, I can tell you wholeheartedly that it’s the most amazing phone on this planet. Apple has reinvented one of our most simple communication tools – the telephone. Samsung, Motorola and Nokia are going to need a miracle to come up with a phone that can be as killer as this one.

Its so sexy….but I can’t afford it. Unless they wanted to do a wide release on Canada day, making the event more meaningful. :)

    Its so hot…

Congrats on the new iPhone and I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am. Currently I’m on the iphone viewing this page and typing is pretty easy (except on this site because the keyboard is lagging).

I’m so glad you finally got the phone to work, because I was seriously getting tired of hearing that damn AT&T elevator music and pre-recorded voice… “Your call will be answered in the order it was received. Thank you.” Ugh.

Man… I seriously need a new phone. Current gadget still spots the original nokia green screen complete with classic snake game!

    PASS.

The phone is very cool I give you that. And yes, it has started a new wave of phones.. BUT..

    It can’t take video.

It can’t play MP3s as ringtones.

    It can’t view Flash websites.

Those are my three major faults with the iPhone. I’m going to wait till they have all bugs and features worked out.

Still gonna have to wait a while before the iPhone is available in Europe. Jus’t don’t like the idea that you are forced to sign with a provider of their choice.
I’ll pick one up when its there, have to see why its so “great”. For now i’ll do with a Nokia E90.
