I’ve had my fair share of shaving cuts over the years. Most of the time I used tissue to help stop the bleeding, but there’s a much better method.
Alum, a natural mineral found in Europe and used by the Egyptians more than 4,000 years ago, is a shaving essential for any well-groomed man. The Art of Shaving Alum Block’s antiseptic properties calm razor burn and soothe irritations, and help stop bleeding in the event of a nick or cut.
The Alum Block ($18) is great for all types of skin, and can even be used as an astringent for oily complexions. Definitely a plus for me, since I’m usually shining like a little piggy by noon time.
Minor cuts are taken care of in a few seconds, by moistening the stone with cold water and placing it over your cut for a few seconds until the bleeding stops.

I don’t cut myself too often especially with razors that have an edge guard. This would come in handy when I do though!

I like the idea of back to basic. Though I sometimes wish I had an electric razor (when in a hurry), my skin always looks better when it’s shaved with a normal razor.
Still have to get my hands on those shaving cream appliers (those brushes or something) and those single bladed razors though.. I think it was mentioned before on Kineda, cause I think I’ve seen that logo before

Electric shaver does the trick for me, clean shave and doesn’t need a lot of work though I use a moisturizer.

the technique to shaving is the way you hold the shaver and how you control it…be like a sculptor, ease at shaving
