Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist Looking for Funding Help via Kickstarter

Remember Street Fighter Legacy, the awesome short Street Fighter fan film released last year by Streetlight Films?

Well the guys are at it again and this time with a green light from Capcom. Director Joey Ansah is seeking £650,000 (roughly $957,000USD) to put the whole Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist film together.

Hi Street Fighter fans! Joey Ansah here, Director, writer and creative force behind ‘Street Fighter: Legacy’ and the upcoming ‘Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist’. I’m basically sending up the Bat Signal to call a rally for help from the Street Fighter community to get ‘Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist’ series into production this year, for a release in the winter.

I believe that ‘Street Fighter:Assassin’s Fist’ will be the definitive live-action Street Fighter that fans have been waiting for and hoping to see. To realise this vision I need YOUR HELP. No matter what corner of the world you are in, now’s your chance to get involved and play a part in making your, and my, dream a reality.
