Football teams usually waste their bucket of free Gatorade by pouring it on the head coach to celebrate their victory. But what they don’t realize is that America’s favorite sports drink, Gatorade, is a heaven sent for hangovers, and they should be saving it for the after party!
In order to cure a hangover, you must rehydrate and replenish your body with all the nutrients and electrolytes that you lost during your night out drinking. Gatorade will help replenish some of the lost electrolytes your body needs and also help rehydrate your body from all the water you disposed of because you were in the bathroom every five minutes the night before.
Chug a bottle of Gatorade before you sleep, and another one as soon as you wake up and you’ll minimize the horrible effects of your hangover.
For an extra boost to relieve the rest of your hangover symptoms, find some dioralyte and add it to your Gatorade. These hydrating salts will be your saviour.

Dioralyte contain rehydration salts consisting of sugars and salts (glucose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate). They are used to replace body fluids lost as a result of acute diarrhoea.
Gross eh? But it works. :p

hmm… never works for me… I find a heavy greasy piece of pizza helps more. Maybe if you load up on gatorade before drinking it helps… but I find after you drink, any fluid you put in after goes out quick.

It’s funny that you guys wrote about it. I’ve been telling people about this ever since Freshman year of college. To really top it off, here’s what I do. A bottle of Gatorade after coming home from a night out, and I keep another one by the bed that I have the next morning along with a bagel. Works every time!
