listin i’v ben to that store its cool n’d all but they DON’T sell the shoes in the windows u know the prettyer ones. i tryed to get some but they said not for sale.
if ur ever looking for a bape store to goto out of the USA japan Osaka is the place. $177 bapes.
so remember DON’T goto hong kong for bapes unless ur looking for cool fakes:)

Now that’s what I call a shopping experience tailored to fit the designs of the clothing. They could’ve went with the boring white and wood floors look, but they really took the time to decorate even the ceilings!

i love bape! i wish it wasn’t so expensive though. the colors and styles are amazing. i mean i can understand why its so expensive.. maybe – but i see a lot of other companies stealing the bape style. if only i had a couple of G’s laying around.. maybe i could get a full outfit haha.

As expect of BAPE, their stores are always very contemporary, if not futuristic. The shops are very creatively organized!! The thing with BAPE is.. it’s over-rated it seems, even though they have nice apparel, it seems to be something most FOB-asians wore one or two years ago, it seems to have died a bit in Toronto now. I like the fact that I I also see many people of other ethnicity wearing it! Which is good, because a few years ago, I thought BAPE was just targetting Asians.
Personally, I don’t think I’d wear BAPE, cause I can pull off the CRAZY style(if you look at their line, its pretty wildly patterned), and if i were to wear anything, BAPE shark HOODIES would be my only choice!

The fashion line can’t get enough BAPE, I’ve seen a few classmates have a few bathing ape apparels, I have to say its different than your average apparel. It’s totally for those who are into the hardcore fashion and like to the difference in the crowed. Hypebeast is a great blog for fashion, visit that site couple times a week to get the latest fashion news, especially on the shoes. They’re Detective Comics (DC) collaboration is cute, the flash shoes are kiddish but funky.

The shop definitely looks nice. The sharp corners, metal and glass has a piercing effect and the white cleans and softens it out. The colourful clothes defnitely stand out properly in this type of environment. Although… in my opinion, Bape design and patterns are hideous lol. I don’t mean to be so pessimistic, but my personal taste does not involve a seisure of deranged colours and patterns. It’s way too busy.

Oh I forgot to talk about the store it’s CRAZY I dig the open concept. Reminds me of Goodfoot and Gravity Pope type shoe store concepts where you just get to browse and kind of just stumble across the shoes you like…they’re all arbitrarily arranged and out in the open. The glass and the metal display cases give it nice clean lines with a really polished finish – someone obviously spent a lot of time Windexing those panes, it looks great!

Good to see casual fashion in here, Terry! When I was younger, I thought BAPE was awesome because of it’s exclusivity – how often do you see somewhere in North America with BAPE? That was then, this is now – BAPE is a line that was so inspiring and downright awesome in it’s roots that it’s really sad to see it everywhere. Everyone recognizes the brand, it’s lost it’s exclusive appeal – nobody ever goes, “DAMN where’d you get that….what’s BAPE?” anymore. Nigo said himself that he’s never ever though of going public with BAPE because it’s just selling out and he wants it to stay true, but now you walk around the mall and I guarantee you’ll find a few people with BAPE. It’s too easy to get now.

In fact, Hypebeast just wrote cited an article on BAPE and how it’s losing it’s appeal just because of that. I think it’s a sick line, but I can see how it’s product appeal is starting to falter. You can find the article here: http://www.portfolio.com/cultu.....pe-Profile

I always told myself that when I go back to HK, the BAPE store would be one of my first stops. Pharrell (B.B.C) and Nigo (B.A.P.E) always collaborate on designs for their individual brands which is why there may be some similarities. A relative just brought back some BAPE gear from the HK store for me, and I like how it’s different from what I see others wearing here. BAPE also only makes limited number per item so that preserves individuality and style. Go APE!
