Belkin TuneStudio iPod Mixer

Belkin TuneStudio

Whether you are a novice podcaster or an experienced musician, TuneStudio integrates the iPod with a full-featured, four-channel mixer, making it easy for you to create high-quality recordings.

Belkin’s TuneStudio for iPod 5th generation (video) is the first four-channel audio mixer that lets you create high-quality digital recordings directly onto your iPod. This mixer allows the input of up to four different instruments or audio sources, and records the audio onto your iPod for instant playback.

TuneStudio is compact, portable, and tough enough to withstand life in a rehearsal room or in a garage. Bands can easily attach instruments and microphones to TuneStudio and record jam sessions directly onto an iPod. Podcasters can also use this device to record their shows either in a studio or on location.

Belkin’s TuneStudio is expected to be released this summer, priced at $180

Sweet eh!?

From the picture, it looks like it only fits one particular model.

Even though Belkin is known as a joint partner of iPod in accesories, there are still questions needed to be answered upon request: Design, Style, Fixtures, Variety, Originality, Portability, Durability, Performance, Lifespan, Cost-effectiveness, Popularity, Maintenance, Warranty, Complexity and Audio Thruput/Input/Output. I think these categories must be checked before this product can be certified for sale.

It looks good on first look but make sure it also WORKS for everyone.

yah. there’s a so much more to recording than just the mixer. plus, there are not that many channels. and if you’re micing a drum set, you easily have six or more mics.
