Comedian and Actor, Eddie Griffen, crashed a million dollar Enzo Ferrari during a practice driving session for the filming of Redline, a Fast and Furious style movie with exotic cars. Now, usually the owner of a car of this caliber would be furious, but that’s not the case with Daniel Sadek.
Sadek, a real estate investor-turned-producer, is not only financing the pic to the tune of $26 million, but is also using his own personal car collection for the car sequences. Sadek is putting his Phantom, Lamborghini Murcielago, Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari F430, Ferrari Scaglietti and two McLarens, among others, in the movie and will destroy one of his two $200,000 Porsche Carrera GTs in one sequence.
How anyone can destroy a Porsche CGT and not shed a tear is beyond me?!
View the trailer for Redline below.
Ouch is all I can say. Looks like a crappy movie, but I might get the DVD when it comes out to see the nice cars. :)
yea, fast and furious all the way!
Yeah, besides the cars, it doesn’t seem like a movie I’d wanna see.
Need for Speeeeed. :P – Sadek has one big collection, I rather see fast in the furious though.
I’d be willing to bet that this was a publicity stunt. A wrecked million+ dollar vehicle lands on the front page of cnn, youtube, break and pretty much every website imaginable. Modern times call for modern measures.
That’s one damn expensive publicity stunt… but you’re right… it got Redline in front of eyes that advertising could’ve never done. Don’t know how many folks will see this movie just because of a crash tho. :p
destroy a million+ car only for ad.?!?!
people are very crazy sometimes…
he does have a spare carrera GT, so writing off one seem ok for him
Id totally see the movie for the cars + girls
WHAT WAS THAT FOR? don’t tell me this is just a rip-off for a BURNOUT:REVENGE game. not even close to Need For Speed. this movie looks sucks.
Fast and the furious but balling lol
maybe he get bored with that car… does it covered by insurance??

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article, but it sounds interesting…
