Ashton Kutcher debuted a new show on E! called “Pop Fiction,” where celebrities play pranks on the paparazzi and tabloids. Paris Hilton and Avril Lavigne were the first two stars to have fake stories created around them that stirred up fake rumors.

Celebrities may get the last laugh after all.

I like the Paris Hilton old man prank better than Avril’s fake baby bump. Brilliant idea nonetheless!

There needs to be a better pay off…just saying “because it’s funny” at the end isn’t enough. (maybe there’s more to the clip, dunno, never watched it) The pay off should be how much money the paparazzi and tabloids ended up spending because of each prank…or something else to follow it up with.

The prank will probably hurts the magazines and TV shows more than anything else. Wasted money on fake news?
