Custom MadCatz Tournament Edition Stick Covers – Stage 1

Custom TE Stick Cover

I love the MadCatz Tournament Edition (TE) arcade fighsticks produced for Street Fighter IV, but I wanted to add my personal touch to them. I did a search on the shoryuken.com forums and found a few options for plexi covers and such, but the quality of after market items being produced wasn’t quite what I was looking for (I’m not a big fan of TAP plastics).

Naturally, I opened up my copy of Adobe Illustrator and designed a set of custom laser cut acrylic covers. I even designed a bamboo cover just for kicks!

I’m still in the initial stage of development, but things are looking quite good. I’ll be checking fitment this week, and if all goes well, I’ll experiment with a few different color options.

The end goal is a completely brushed aluminum plate with Kineda’s logo etched on it.

So let me get this straight:
The red cover is made out of acrylic and you made that your yourself? (If not, where can you get the acrylic cover made?)
The last picture – the clear plastic cover, that comes with the TE?

    The bamboo cover looks deadly.
