Daigo Umehara Wins Evo 2010 Super Street Fighter IV Championship Title

Evo 2010 Daigo

Even with over 1700 competitors from nations around the world, Daigo defends his title as best the Super Street Fighter IV player and wins Evo 2010! It was a close battle against Unites States finest Rufus player EG Ricky Ortiz, but Daigo was able to stay calm throughout the series to pull a 3-1 defeat in the grand finals.

U.S. National Champion Justin Wong did not qualify for a final spot, as he was eliminated by Northern California player Vangief (Zangief) and Taiwanese player GamerBee (Adon), who both received standing ovations for incredible performances during the semi-finals.
