23,500 memebership fee, that is ridiculous!!
so ppl that end up in there are either business geniuses (CEOs) or just mad rich (celebrities)…. damn… i wish i was one of them…

oh my… how can it be so cheap. Even my undies cost way more than that *wink*
What a waste of good money though. It’s actually the celebrity lifestyle that this amount of money is actually going to. Nothing more than that. Society is gearing towards name and brand. Not anymore smaller companies can compete even as underdog in this day and age.

I read somewhere that there’s a waiting list to get membership into this gym. Doesn’t look like there’ll be a shortage of customers anytime soon.

Hmmm, from the outside, Equinox doesnt look too special. If I haven’t read this article, and if happen to pass by, I’d try to get a membership, only to hear that they have a 200 member quota, with a annual membership fee of $23,500, don’t think i’d be too happy.

On the other hand, if i managed to get my hands on a membership, I wouldn’t have to wait in line, and I’d have a personal trainer to keep track of my progress, and there would also be luxurious area for me to rest in, Sounds Fabolous!(cept i’d go bankrupt)

In terms of business for the Equinox, they’re going down if customers refuse to pay $23,500, but if they do get 200 customers, then business would be successful, 200 customers x $23,500 = A whole lot of money!

“A yearly membership will run you $23,500.” You’re paying for the employee’s salary once you hit the yearly membership status. I’m guessing that most of your membership fee goes to the personal trainers and nutritionist there. Often seeing an nutritionist or a personal trainer outside of the Equinox Gym is sufficient enough if you went there. Local gyms are the same just without the giant price tag.

Wow. My gym membership at York U for $10 a year looks like a complete joke now.
I guess I should be really thankful that I’ve at least got a nice gym I can go to. =P
