Dynon’s Root 6 really sucks, but that’s a good thing in the case of hand held vacuums. With twice the power of other hand helds, it’ll never clog or lose suction. The Root 6 uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery and comes with a specially designed combination brush/stair tool for cleaning.
There’s no need for dirt bags with the built-in clear bin, and the “one-touch emptying” system allows you to empty the trash without getting your hands dirty. At a relatively cheap $149.99, it’s great for cramped spaces like cars and apartments.
I saw this awhile back and was thinking of getting one. My dustbuster sucks major arse.
All those things look so all high tech and beefed up, but in the end, generally, they don’t do so well. :P I still got the old school vaccuum cleaners, and a powerful hand held one that does the job, called “The Shark” not sure what the brand name is. It can take on Root 6 any day. :)
David – I guarantee you’re wrong about this one. I own the Dyson, and I used to own the Shark… the Root 6 will smoke it any day of week. ;) This thing is as almost as strong as an upright or canister vacuum.
Inteesting vacuum design, looks kinda like parts of an engine or motor, gives me the feel that when I turn it on, it’ll make me temporarily deaf, but Im really curious about its power.
Reminds me of those steam cleaners. The only thing about the shark that I don’t particularly like is that its really loud. Terry, maybe you should show this vacuum cleaner in action (Dyson Root 6). :P
i hate hoovering so it doesn’t matter with what i must do it….
the windtunnel rocks and i use it when i clean the inside of my car… $149.99 for this, i can think of a better way to spend that
Flamethrower that burns dust.
for lazy people like me, nothing beat the robot auto-hoovering cleaner. wish i could afford it
