Beauty comes at a price, especially when the beauty is a $6,000 (USD) BBQ grill. Designed by architect Jeppe Utzon as a simple table, the Electrolux Jeppe Utzon BBQ Grill is constructed from Corian and stainless steel. The grill cover panels extend to create extra bench space when the grill is in use and features a lock to prevent from being closed while in operation.
Electrolux hopes that it will also change the way you think about the company’s brand and it looks like it’s working. The sleek grill sold out its first two production runs.
“This is an unashamedly premium product designed for those who aspire to the very best things in life,” Lars Erikson, Design Director of Electrolux Home Products says. “It is the perfect product to carry the Electrolux brand.”
Wow! I definitely gotta get me one of these babies!
Very sleek indeed, always love to grill. What other products do they make?
Electrolux makes pretty much every home appliance you can think of… fridges, vacuum cleaners, washer/dryers, etc.
This is the type of stuff i want to design for a living, the clean and sleek items.
Another company mixed with Ikea to make one sexy house. I love aluminum appliances, looks beautiful.
very good idea… i love Lars’s ideas
You’ve got to be kidding. You say $6000, eye-popping!!!! Even a caveman can do better BBQ than today’s chefs.
very classy, but bbq is not meant to be clean, its meant to be pure cave man styles lol
