Japanese tuner Powerhouse Amuse has created quite a stir in the European automotive tuning scene with their new Ericsson subdivision. Their bold statement was clear when they took a brand new E92 M3, and outfitted it with an aggressive body kit made of dry carbon.

Because of the expensive process required to make dry carbon parts, the Ericsson M3 kit will set your wallet back about $30,000 before installation. The front bumper alone runs about $9500. Lucky for you though, they’ve just released a FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) version that costs about a third of that price.

When I saw this car at Tokyo Auto Salon back in January, I was literally taken back by it’s seamless integration. Now that BMW has decided not to release a CSL version of the M3, this is the must have kit.

That’s a really nice kit but way too much money! I don’t understand why anyone would want to dump 30k on top of a perfectly beautiful car.

That kits been out for a while there are a few companies that have already made FRP replica version of that front bumper for the 335i. I personally like my car the way it looks stock though.

I agree with Jules about the price… however that kit looks straight from the factory, beautifully integrated
if you can get the replica at a cheaper price, BUY IT… the rest of the $ can be put to better use
