The first season of Lost would’ve been a lot shorter, if they had an Eton Voice Link Radio ($150) with them. Unlike standard emergency radios that just receive transmissions, the Voice Link can also also establish two way communication to any Family Radio Search-enabled device.

And don’t worry about batteries, the Voice link is can be powered using the included hand crank charger!

    I like how some new products nowadays are self powering. It removes the use of batteries thus eliminating waste that can add up to a few hundred million batteries per year if not recycled properly.
