Huang Sheng Yi has been casted again in the sequel to Kung Fu Hustle. She’s currently working on a TV series called Kung Fu Scholar, which is also being produced by Stephen Chow. Although the details have not been finalized for the new movie, Huang Sheng Yi hears that she’ll be playing a rough and wild girl with great kung fu ability. She’ll also actually talk this time around instead of having to play the reserved and muted role in the original.
