I'm Korean and I used to really be into k-pop (not that I'm not anymore, just not as much.) Boa HAS lip-synced plenty of times in her career. I think she still does when she performs for shows such as Music Bank and what not. Also, Boa, like many other American pop stars, does not write her own music. She has a decent voice, but not very good live. However, her dance moves are amazing.
