Miss Korea NaRi

Did the judges at this year’s Miss Korea 2008 pageant have their beer goggles on? Please tell me so, because I have no idea how we can go from Lee Honey (2006 winner – left in photo) and Lee Ji (2007 winner – middle in photo) to NaRi (right in photo)!

We all know Korea has some damn fine women, and there was no shortage of them entering this year’s pageant. Peep the other 50 contestants below.

Miss Korea NaRi

Can you honestly tell me with a straight face that NaRi is the hottest out of the 50 girls you’ve just seen? Is this really how Korea wants to represent themselves at Miss Universe this year?

Miss Korea 2006 – Lee Honey
Miss Korea NaRi

Miss Korea 2007 – Lee Ji
Miss Korea NaRi

Miss Korea 2008 – Nari
Miss Korea NaRi

Someone, please explain!

maybe with Asia’s strong showing in the previous years, they had to switch the spotlight somewhere else.

Plastic surgery is pretty prominant in Korea. Maybe the winner got bonus points for being ‘natural’? Just a guess. Either that or the ’sleeping with judges’ theory.

yeah i htink they were trying to send the msg to young girls to either be natural or not so skinny. but that is a total failure cus all the celebs are the opposites of both.

i dont even understand how she was even a candidate..

We can recognize after seeing the contestant she was one of “ugliest”.

she must have had a very intelligent answer during the interview portion.

it’s probably brains over beauty for her (although this IS a beauty pageant).

All the other 50 girls refused to sleep with judges.
Either that, or the judges were on crack.

i’m pretty sure she didn’t sleep with the judges. who would sleep with that dog?

better yet, seems like korea’s pageants are just as ruined as hong kong’s pageants–playground for those with a lot of money and connections.

Even Tila Tequila looks better than her. Uggh.

IMHO, maybe she could answered question with good answer (not sure).
or the judge want something different for next miss universe contest to get attentions from other country. hoho. just my opinion.
