Jet Li's done it again. The heartstopping, physics-defying moves, sensibility of a jaguar, the finess and the suave of a kungfu master = the Jet Li entity. Fearless, we say HE HAS NO FEAR, only us we fear him get our behinds kicked. Respectfully acknowledging the main character he's partaking in, this biopic bonanza is a must see. I've seen it, and it greatly shows Chinese patriotism on this marvellous hero and a sense of joy and excitement as he defeats the great fighters in each corners of the globe, not all but the few selected ones. His humbleness in the epic climax presents us that martial arts is not just a fighting form, it's an artistic performance ex.dance, contemporary art, etc. Jet Li, masterlly performs well to truly create the Huo Yuanjia character into storyline perfection. I admired it, and so you should.

p.s. really?! are jason statham and jet li will be making an action flick together? wow! i can't wait for that to happen.

According to MonkeyPeaches... During an interview with Chinese newspaper Nanfang Daily, Jet Li said he would no longer making any more wushu movie because, what he wanted to say about wushu through movies had all been said. There was nothing more to say about wushu, in another word, he could no longer show wushu on a higher level. But, he would continue doing action movies and kung fu movies. His words were misinterpreted by the media. He said action, kung fu and wushu were three different concepts. His The Tai-Chi Master was a movie about a man reaching a new state through wushu. Action movies, as well as kung fu movies, only took the form of wushu.

Most likely it will. It'll probably be at least a year before it someone like Miramax or Sony snaps it up. If not, I'm sure you'll be able to buy it online in VCD or DVD format. ;)
