Brook Pifer

When you’re ready to go public with your rockstar status, give Brook Pifer a call. This amazing photographer based in Orlando, Florida has shot celebrity, magazine and advertorial photos for the likes of Universal, Cinemark Music and EA Sports.

Brook Pifer

Pifer shoots exclusively with Hasselblad camera’s, which I’d love to get my hands on one day, if I only I could justify their $20,000+ price tags. For now, I’ll just stick to using my Nikon D200 and let Pifer work her rockstar magic.

Hasselblad is a world famous camera manufacturer based on their sensor system (thats what they’re known for). At a $20,000 price tag, you can purchase either a Canon or a Nikon D200 (latest model) and buy variety of lenses while you’re at it. Macro, telephoto, the whole package, might even start a collection of lenses. Using Hasselblad is a bit overboard. Even some of the photographers that work for National Geography use Nikon and Canon so not buying Hasselblad doesn’t mean you’re second grade. :)

Hasselblad is impressive judging from the above pictures. But at a $20,000+ price margin, a bit too much for my blood. I guess Hasselblad is the Bugatti Veron among Cameras.

I am sure that Pifer has more than payed the camera off with the shoots that she does. More than likely after a couple of photo shoots if can guess. I’d buy the Hasselblad if I knew i could pay it off that quickly. But where would I get 20K for a camera??? It must be great to live a free of financial worries.

Hasselbald is pretty darn hardcore. Certainly nice to think about having as the camera definitely looks slick. Wonder how much Pifer changes for each shot.

Her gallery is very impressive. She really doesn’t seem hesitant to put her clients up for challenges such as submerging them in water up to their necks because she’s confident that her art will look fantastic.
