Hide Your Valuables in a Head of Lettuce

Lettuce

If I were a thief, the last place I’d look for valuables is in your fridge. Maybe if I were hungry while robbing your place, I might take a peek in there, but then I’d eat something a bit more appetizing then a head of lettuce.

That’s exactly the goal behind this latest security gadget from Bim Bam Banana. This realistic looking head of iceberg lettuce ($49) has a bottom that snaps off to reveal a secret hiding place. It’s an ideal way to protect cash, jewelry and other valuables.

Hopefully, there aren’t too many thieves reading this post!

I wonder if it also feels like lettuce, or if it’s just hard molded plastic?

That’s some pretty neat compartment for holding small stuff, not to mention its hard enough to get things across the U.S-Canadian boarder. :)

no, still the best place to hid your stash of personals is in a secret underground room, example how brad pitt from mr. and mrs. smith has a secret underground room underneath the toolshed

doesnt look too safe to me.. looks yummy enough to make a salad from though, id prefer the normal fireproof safe, since thoses take forever to open if it can even be opened
