How do you promote a new cell phone in China? You hire cute Chinese girls. I understand selling beauty and fashion products with the use of pretty models, but how effective is the use of models for electronics? In a male dominated market, I assume it at least causes potential buyers to give a second look.
I’m not complaining about the use of hot chinese girls, but how it’d be interesting to see how many phones would sell with and without these kind of ads.
They don’t seem that comfortable with their pictures being taken.. except for the girl with the blue… i’m gonna go with dress? But the rest look kinda awkward..

this is really pushing phone ad/modeling. like heartofjosh is saying.. theres no phone in the ad. how is this reali an ad. if the girls said ill do it for free then maybe itll make sense. in exchange of their face only ads they do the phone ad for free.
