What better way to start off a Monday morning, than with a video of Holly Valance fighting in a bikini? Here’s a fight clip from the upcoming DOA: Dead or Alive movie between Holly Valance and Sarah Carter.
Someone should’ve gave these girls a few more lessons in martial arts training to make the fight scenes a bit more realistic. Keanu Reaves turned into a bonafide kung fu master for the Matrix right? I doubt the producers cared much though. They probably figured having half naked girls fighting in bikinis ala DOA style would be enough to get people to come watch. They’re probably right.

The beginning and middle of the fight were “ok” but then she seriously slugs it out at the end. :) Holly’s on RAGE MODE!

I see there’s some eastern culture imported into the movie, (looks pretty cool)and fight scenes could be better. - They gotta make a DOA Beach volleyball movie as their sequel or easter egg on the DVD. :)

Yeah.. we need better choreography. Too much John Woo slow motion too. Bikini fighting chicks is great.. but if you don’t have the moves to back it up, it’s not going to be only half as good.

if you really do witness a martial arts fight, i mean trained fighters with the intent to kill, it lasts no longer than 30 seconds. the longer you prolong a fight/war, the more fatigued you become. therefore, a good practitioner of martial arts knows to make his kill move quickly and within the first three moves.

Fighting is ok. I’m sure they picked looks over skill when picking the actresses. They should’ve gotten Zhang Zi Yi for one of the roles tho. :)

you know, jeniffer garner didn’t do so bad as elektra. that said, she is a dancer like zhang ziyi. so they both are capable of following choreography.

Her fighting skills might be bad but during the movie, i didn’t even notice that at all and i’m a martial artiet myself. Perhaps i focus too much on girls in bikini.

I admit I agree with the majority of the commentors regarding the fighting styles. But how awesome are the babes. I admire Holly Valance and drool more on Sarah Carter. Hell Yeah!
