Hollywood has fallen in love with Jeon Ji-Hyun. Her popularity with US filmmakers hit sky high with her role as Kwak Jae-Yong in the 2001 film, “My Sassy Girl.” Hollywood companies have bought the remake rights for four of her films, “My Sassy Girl,” “Il Mare,” “Windstruck,” and now Andrew Lau’s, “Daisy.” Daisy debuts next week in Korean theatres and if history repeats itself, it’s sure to be another hit.

Nice! another Jeon ji hyun movie. She’s super cute and I loved my sassy girl. haven’t seen Il mare yet but I hear it’s great. I hope hollywood doesn’t screw it up with bad voiceovers.

i’m so pissed that Hollywood is REMAKING the movies instead of just subbing or dubbing them. i love jeon ji hyun in HER roles. i can’t see an american girl acting in windstruck and my assy girl.

You should see My Sassy Girl first before watching Windstruck, and will surprissed with silly ending of Windstruck in the train station ^_^
Hollywood do suck. When they saw Ring blow up in Japan, they remake it. When they saw Taxi, they remake it. Now they see MSG and want to remake it too? WTF…
Let’s boycote the movie if Jeon’s role replaced by improper actress!!

It is class now in America and in the Europe these remakes adapted under our style of a life will look. Is better to look all its films in the original. (forgive for my bad English)

Good god does hollywood have anything else better to do then to rip of other’s originality?
To see excellent orignal movies such as My Sassy Girl, Windstruck and Il Mare get remade by hollywood just makes my soul shatter.
oh and one more thing
Tae Guk GI was MUCH better then Saving Private Ryan -

I totally agree. Hollywood has lost their originality. Their remake of the Grudge and the Ring sucks big time. I reckon the original is way better coz it scare the hell out of me. And that movie “Shall we dansu” i think that’s the movie title was my fave but the Hollywood remake ruin it for me.
