I think what makes the X-men series so great, is that James “Logan” Howlett a.k.a. Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman is such a badass character.
“We have our final script,” Jackman grinned like a proud papa this week, announcing his satisfaction with the untitled Wolverine prequel that he’ll begin filming in late 2007.
I’m pretty sure everyone wouldn’t mind seeing a little more berserker rage in the Wolverine spinoff! Plenty of more action is what I’d be looking for. Show Wolverine’s crazy power, agility and speed to slash his opponents to death with those adamantium claws of his.

i’m actually not that excited. especially based on the last x men movie. seriously, wolverine is a cool badass character, but at most he’s a side character compared to the other x-men. the only way to truly redeem the confidence that was lost with comic fans is to delve into his weapon-x history against the germans in wwii (go captain america!) and his covert operations against the soviets. just my 2 cents.

Wolverine Origins…I’m looking forward to this. Too bad they can’t do Superman: Birthright, that would be the best comic book adaption ever. Somethings are meant to be put on the big screen. I bet the reviewers are just going to say its “wolverine revenge”, can’t be that bad if it is.

the last intallment of the xmen films ended the xmen series off on a bad note, especially due to the change of director and crew. wolverine, the upcoming spinoff, is supposed to seret it right for the fans of xmen, and wolverine in particular. i use to have most of the wolverine comics, my favorite character.
i hope they play into his relationship with other xmen, like gambit, jean, … but too bad yuriko is already dead. lol
