I wrote about Hysteric Glamour back in October of last year. I was luckily enough to stop by the Harajuku store branch on my trip to Tokyo.
Hysteric Glamour Japan was launched in 1984 by Nobuhiko Kitamura and became an instant success.

The brand crossed into U.S. borders in 2003 when Gwen Stefani made a prominent mention of Hysteric Glamour on her “Harajuku Girls” song.

Kitamura does a great job of blending the unique look of Harajuku with an essence of vintage glam.

The store is decorated throughout with 70’s style neon lights.

I’ve actually seen this brand before, but the store’s name can’t be fetched right now. The clothing they offer also seems to please many japanese rock people. They have well fitted pants, if not tight, but if you’re into the harajuku scene, HG is actually a better choice than Gwen’s Harajuku brand, IMO! The interior also seems very vintage yet contemporary, which makes it very pleasant to shop at!
