Introducing the Fisker Tramonto

For some, owning a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG just isn’t enough. There are those that need to truly stand out from the crowd, and if you ever get a chance to cruise the streets of Beverly Hills, you’ll understand why. Literally, everyone and their mom owns a Mercedes SL. There are so many Mercedes that roam Sunset Blvd, it’s as if they were as inexpensive as a Honda Civic.
So what’s a rich guy to do to make a statement? Introducing the Fisker Tramonto. Developed by world-renowed auto designer, Henrik Fisker, he’ll take your SL55 AMG and drop it like it’s hot. All the body panels are replaced with lightweight carbon fiber and each piece gets a nice face lift. The engine gets a bit of tweaking from Kleemann so that it can belt out more than 610 horsepower and take you from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
The myriad Mercedes-Benz technological innovations, from the power-retractable hardtop to Active Body Control (ABC), remain untouched – as do safety systems, including crumple zones and airbags. At the same time, the Tramonto has become something much more, and the differences will raise your SL55 to a new height of exoticness.
All this can be yours for just the base price of a SL55 ($128,800) and that $108,000 you have laying around that you don’t know what to do with.
