Donnie Yen stars as “Ip Man,” the real-life Wing Chun Grandmaster, who is most famous for teaching Bruce Lee how to fight. From the looks of the trailer, it also looks like he did quite a bit of ass kicking himself during World War II.

I found an extended version of the trailer on the main website. http://www.ipman-movie.com/main_en.html. There’s also a few videos on youtube that have the original footage of Ip Man practicing wing chun on the wooden dummies, classic.
How much of this is real and how much of it is just glorified movie stuff? I always thought that Yip Man was just a teacher of Wing Chun. Never knew he fought the Japanese and all?!?
