Jamba Light Smoothies

I’m always looking for great on-the-run options that are healthy and easy on my waistline. I recently discovered that Jamba Juice is offering Jamba Light smoothies that are the perfect complement to those with an active and healthy lifestyle. Available in strawberry, berry, and mango flavors, these creamy, fruit-filled drinks have no added sugars and nearly half the calories — 160 versus 280 — of the regular smoothie versions.

Plus they also fuel your body with lots of good stuff, like Vitamin C, Calcium and 6-7 wonderful grams of protein. These nutritious, great-tasting drinks make achieving a lighter lifestyle a lot more fun!

Theres a place called FRESHLY SQUEEZED in toronto, and they make their smoothies with fresh fruits without added sugar, but the problem is, sometimes, if the fruit isnt ripe enough, the smoothie would taste.. off. I remembered my passionfruit smotth was a bit too much on the sour side.

i’m waiting for a store to open up using whey protein. i guess the market’s not there, but there are lots of creative flavors with them. smoothies have way too much sugar.

We have Jamba and Keva Juice here in the states and I never really thought of these as an option for low fat and healthy drinks. I will have to check out the particulars on these in person this week.
