JVC’s Everio X GZ-X900 ($1000) shoots full HD 1080p (1920×1080) video or 9-megapixel still images with a 5x optical zoom. The unit is quite small measuring just 2.6 x 4.88 x 1.46 inches and weighing 0.66lbs
The Everio X can also take 5-megapixel stills (at up to 1/4000 shutter speeds) while recording full-HD video, as well as offering 600fps slow-motion video recording.

Im really surprised by it’s size and capabilities, 9mp stills, full HD recording.. and 5mp stills during recording is amazing. It can even go 600fps to let you timewarp an exploding scene, awesome!
