I really can't stand Kanye West's music. But I agree with AllaN and jbkmo. West has the following and the blog will blow up no matter what. That's the way it is with the famous.

Agreed with Allan. The key to any successful venture is a loyal following, and with a large audience of listeners and internet supporters, Kanye easily has the means to crack into the niche and exploit fame in a digital means, additive to his monopoly over his current auditory domain. We all know West loves fame (just check out his SNL spoof - he never denies it!) so this is just another way for him to express his extreme displeasure of losing and of obscurity.

Of course, Kanye wouldn't really need to write anything more than how great he is for people to read it. I wouldn't assume too much quality in his posts, but followers will stick to his every word because it's probably one of the closest mediums with which to reach someone. Digital contact has linked everyone together and brought us all the much closer - myspace was a first but now you get a firsthand in-depth view of Kanye's every internet thought!

Kanye has nowhere to go but up. He's already proven himself as a front-line artist, so he can only 'Touch The Sky' with every next move.

The thing with kanye is that... he does't have to build rep, he has reputation already, which means his fans will automatically support his blog. I don't know the requirements to become a Blogebrity, but if the number of audience is key, im pretty sure he can score Top100 in a matter of.. months? perhaps weeks? I want to seem him post quality like kineda first, before i'd consider reading his blogs.

He seems like a pretty good guy so good on him I say; It'll be interesting to see if 50 Cent actually follows through with his promise to give up too.
