Kanye West Wants to Be Addressed as Martin Louis The King Jr.

In a in a video message uploaded on his blog, the “Louis Vuitton Don” rapper arrogantly tells us:

Due to what has happened – what has happened so severely when the red shoes hit the runway, I was forced to change my name to Martin Louis the King Jr. Address me as such.

Are you kidding me Kanye? Oh wait… I mean Yeezy… or Yeez, or Louis Vuitton Don… I didn’t mind your previous nick names at all but Martin Louis the King Jr? Mad props on the shoe collab with Louis Vutton, but this new nick has got to be some kind of joke.

That’s totally Kanye being his bratty self as usual. disgusting.

Kanye, it’s not pronounced ” TRES”, it’s pronounced “TRE”
Unless that’s not what he meant in TRES ACTION.

His cockiness amuses me nevertheless, keeps him Kayne.

A little disrespectful to Martin Luther King Jr. I think.

I read today some article of Kanye. And there was something like Kanye don’t want so many fans. He needs only 20,000 fans who understand his music and that’s all.
    This man is really sick.
    :) and I like it.
btw. yume has a new photo?

Wow, that was pretty funny. I hope he was kidding but it’s hard to tell. Kanye knows how to entertain, though.

Arrogant Award of the Year goes to Kanye West. Whoops I mean Martin Louis The King Jr. :p

Yume is right, although I would say it’s being VERY disrespectful to Martin Luther King Jr.

Kanye’s brain has seem to have gone on vacation as of late and is acting like a HUGE douche. Don’t get me wrong, SOME of his music is good, but hell, he doesn’t have to act the way he does.

I wonder if he would still be this “douchey” — if you will — if his mom were still around.

I”m not sure about you, but I’m not a fan of the whole LV shoe collaboration especially the second shoe. But anyways, I’ve never ever taken kanye seriously or his music. Regardless if his mom was here, I’ll doubt he’d change.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man. Even greater than Kanye. If Kanye respects the man, he should just apologize and call himself Kanye West.

What Kayne West did was something called “Poetic Comedy”. He has done such an act in the past on Television. It may seem to be “disrespectful” for many of us but in my opinion, it’s really creative. Some poems go far beyond into topics like sexism, racism and sexuality (i.e. sexual preference), that may “disgust” the audience and even the reader/performer. The video shown by Terry is “fair” compared to many of the “poems” I have read in the past discussing topics I dare not to speak of.

In the end, many constitutions do state the fact that every man/woman has the freedom of speech. And what Kayne West did was a form of Art that expresses his feelings/thoughts.

FLXPr0ductions — i think you make a really good point.

But -IMHO- there is tasteful and distasteful – judging by the response above i think this falls into the distasteful category. (And i do love me some Kanye)

  • yume

Poetic? Not in this case I don’t believe he was. Downright childish and arrogant.

  • hamatoyoshi86

I really don’t think it’s that bad. I actually can’t stop watching it.

    FLXPr0ductions – “…every man/woman has the freedom of speech…”

BUT there are also some “ethic borders” and rename yourself to some great (or evil) man/woman is too much! that’s my opinion…
