Kristin Kreuk Lands Lead Role in Beauty and the Beast

CW is bringing Smallville star Kristen Kruek back to the network in the lead role for their upcoming show Beauty and the Beast. The show is loosely based on the 1980s CBS series with the same name but with a modern-day romantic twist. No word on when the pilot will launch.
