Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is denying that the nude pics of her from an apparent sex tape floating around Hollywood is fake. In this month’s interview with Bazaar magazine she states:
“(The tape) is not real, so it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did. I definitely understand the nature of people better now and that the mere allegation of something like that could be headline news. People think it’s real because somebody says it is.”
The nude pics I’ve seen sure look a lot like Leighton Meester, so unless someone produces a the full tape, I guess we’ll never know for sure. Maybe she has a twin out there? Now wouldn’t that be heaven!

Saying she’s denying it’s fake means she’s stating they’re real. What you should have said is something more along the lines of;
“Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is denying that the nude pics of her from an apparent sex tape floating around Hollywood are real.”

Even when you didn’t quote her completely she never denied the nude pics are her. she denies the EXISTENCE of a tape. but here is the full excerpt and quote anyway:
