The fabulous life that only bling can bring has finally caught up to Lindsay Lohan. UK papers are reporting that Lohan is nearly broke after blowing a staggering $7 million on partying, alcohol and drugs. Although the actress earned millions from films like ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’, she’s spent it even quicker.
Among some of her expenses: $1 million on clothes, $500,000 on a $1,200-a-night suite in Hollywood’s opulent Chateau, having personal chauffeurs on 24-hour standby, $350,000 on luxury cars, $137,000 on rehab facilities in an effort to kick her drug and alcohol problems, $350,000 on legal fees from her two driving under the influence arrests, and $70,000 on tanning and hair styling.
She’s planning to sell her $3.15 million apartment in LA, plus her $1.1 million New York flat to gain some quick funds, and according to a source close to Lohan, “Lindsay doesn’t have much choice as she is totally broke. The only reason she’s coming back to LA, is to earn some money fast.”
I actually think her going broke is fantastic. It’ll finally get her back on the big screen, where she’s actually a pretty good actress.

And I thought Lindsay Lohan dissappeared for good, only to hear that she’s making a return.
And her plans on selling her Apartment in LA and her New York flat… Don’t think it’ll be beneficial.
And her spending habits are outrageous! Definitely not money well spent if you ask me.

Celebrities these days are so caught up in the world of drugs or some other craze related stunt. Public image just doesn’t cut it for them. They’re constantly being looked but they don’t seem to care. It’d be great if they just donated that money to charity.

lindsay like the second post said is a good actor…sorta eh..but nonetheless good. “i know who killed me” was one hell of a movie to me..pretty good..
hmm..but with fame comes money, and money leads to experimentation..sigh..but why drugs! she was such a sweetheart in “parent trap”! ahha..oh how the times have changed people..

As one of the highest paid (if not the highest paid) adolescent stars, no wonder Lindsay can afford to blow her wad on all that - $1 million can get you a hefty wardrobe…or at least in her case a lot of shoes since I believe that at least a third of her partying funds are in new clothes (or smallest pieces of fabric) to wear to the club. Ah, for the lifestyle of the rich and famous, where the world is your oyster and sin is simply something your money can buy.
As far as I’m concerned, Lindsay’s image isn’t something she really cares about - she’s not exactly the most role model figure out there, or at least not doing much to influence all those influenc-able little girls these days. But why should she bother, really, because her lifestyle isn’t for everyone else, but rather just for her; hedonism at it’s very finest.
I agree, Terry, I’d love to see another Lindsay Lohan flick because she’s actually quite talented on the screen (or at least fun to watch). You know, just not so great a person in real life.

Although she is a good actress, I’m not too big a fan of her work. I think the stardom and riches are making her lose focus of career. There are definitely other meaningful ways of spending that money, so hopefully one day she will see how fortunate she is. I do like this clip of her from SNL where she plays Hermione from Harry Potter.
