Slicing and dicing vegetables with your traditional cutting board can make a big mess on your kitchen counter. The Miller Cutting Board ($28) solves that problem with integrated stainless steel preparation bowls that allows you to easily keep your chopped ingredients nice and tidy. Sweep your discards right into a bowl as you work
Made from horizontal laminated bamboo which is harder than maple, your Miller Cutting board will have less visible knife marks, keeping the cutting board looking great for years to come.

I have been cooking for many years now… A board like that is probably only good if you are cooking small portions, 1-2 servings. When I cook for my friends and family, I usually have to prepare ingredients for 5-6 servings at one go. Don’t think the bowl from the chopping bowl can hold enough.

We have a few plastic cutting boards, and they’re really durable, nothing to worry about if they get damage since its just plastic. :) I would like a wood cutting board since it gives that modern ikea look.

I like that idea David. Yeah, Ikea makes the best range of cooking utensils. Definitely there should be an Ikea chopping board. It would be more awesome if it has a sifter and a knife holder.

This idea is nothing new though, it’s already been done but it is a nice design with bamboo and stainless steel

Agreed with an earlier post. If you have small portions that need to be sliced or chopped, this would be an ideal cutting board, but when you make bigger portions, then this cutting board would just be a normal everyday cutting board. But i do like how its made from bamboo since i presonally prefer wooden cutting boards over plastic.
