Mini Laptop Bag Recommendations

BOA.XS

I just got my new Dell X1 12″ widescreen laptop. It’s a powerful but tiny little thing. Weighing in at a little over 2lbs, it almost feels like a magazine in my hands at times. I’m trying to find a bag that’s sleek enough to fit the small laptop plus maybe a couple accessories when travelling. So far, the Booq BOA.XS has been my favorite choice.

I also have a nice Victorinox messenger bag that fits the Dell X1, but it wasn’t made for laptops so their isn’t much padding for safety on the front side. Anyone know of a cool, non-bulky and nice looking bag you?

    I use a sleeve type bag that provides protection but isn’t a full bag. This way, you can carry it in any bag you want that fits it (like the Victorinox messenger bag you mentioned). I personal carry my laptop in my suede Kenneth Cole messenger bag. It doesn’t look like a laptop bag at all (good thing in my opinion).

    I also use a sleeve for my laptop. It’s a powerbook 12″ so it should be about the same size as the x1. I forgot what brand it is. All the sleeves are pretty similar but you can toss it in any bag.

    i use a Booq bag (Powersleeve 12″) for my 12″ powerbook, and then put it in my Victorinox Backpack, when i need to go “stealth mode”. the X1 i think should be the same size.

    Crumpler (http://www.crumplerusa.com) also makes good bags as well.
