there actually is some science behind the “5 second rule”. there was a study on it anyway. as long as the surface that the food landed on is relatively clean, then it’s probably safe to eat.

Just be wary of your surroundings. You can use the three second rule when you’re on your own, but funny if you’ve done it publicly.
