When the 574 was first introduced in the mid 90s, it became an instant classic. The 574 was originally created as a more accessible derivative of the famed 576 silhouette. With extra materials left over from the production of the 576, the 574 was developed and was an immediate hit. Since its inception, the 574 has been one of New Balance’s most tried and true silhouettes, sought after for its comfort and effortless style. Today, it remains the iconic New Balance sneaker.
The 574 collection for fall be offered in four classic colorways, including: grey, grey/navy, navy, and black/grey. Several additional seasonal colorways will be introduced in limited quantities every two months (beginning in July 2009 with Burgnudy and Brown!) through December.
