remember when nokia tried to break into the portable gaming scene with the n-gage? and then the n-gage qd? although, this netbook does look like a stronger contender than their gaming efforts. what matters most is price point. netbooks are getting less and less expensive and more powerful, especially with the lenovo s12 and acer 1410. so with those seemingly base stats, it better be out on the market now or already be old news when it hits shelves.

i got a netbook rated at 8 hours, i get 5-6 in real life. if that is any comparision

i think this is a terrible idea from nokia (and i love that company) - but netbook market is over saturated already with everyone offering just about the same thing. what can nokia do to set it self apart? the OVI store? - i dont think that is going to cut it.

Nokia's main advantage in this offering is in integration with their phones +WAP data, if they can make the two work seamlessly together they might get the foothold needed to stay in the rough PC market.

12 hours of battery life? I wonder how long it last in real world situations.
