Ping Pong Playa is a great indie-comedy film by Academy Award winner, Jessica Yu. If you’re curious as to why Asians make such a fuss about Table Tennis and Badminton, there’s a great article by Jeff Yang on SFGate.

    Definitely plan on checking out Ping Pong Playa when it opens in theaters this Friday. It’s about a guy who wants to be a basketball star, but ends up teaching his mother’s ping pong classes after she gets into an accident. Jimmy Tsai looks hilarious as C-Dub!
