The Canadian Press is reporting that a Chicago jury has acquitted R&B singer R. Kelly on all counts at his child pornography trial.
The verdict came six years after the R&B superstar was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with a young girl. Prosecutors had said she was as young as 13 at the time. Kelly had faced a maximum 15 years in prison.
Both Kelly and the now 23-year-old alleged victim had denied they were the ones appearing on the tape, which was played for the jury at the beginning and end of the trial.
The prosecution’s star witness was a woman who said she engaged in three-way sex with Kelly and the girl from the video. Defence attorneys argued the man on the tape didn’t have a large mole on his back, as Kelly does.
A large mole? Maybe it was a small mole 10 years ago and it grew. R. Kelly must be so happy that he’s gonna throw a golden shower party for his defense team.

“Three hours before the verdict was reached, Cook County Criminal Court Judge Vincent Gaughan received a note from an African-American juror who attends a culinary school requesting that he be excused from the panel because of some serious family illnesses.
Per the Chicago Tribune, the panelist told the judge that he needed to be there for his family after his cousin had died on Monday; his aunt and uncle were hospitalized with pneumonia; and his niece was diagnosed with cancer.”

Never thought that I’d ever live this life
Money stacked in rolls, honeys on each side
Anything I want, I can say it’s mine
No more worries ’bout how can I provideMoney makes the world go round
(Nuttin’ move but the money)
You believe it if you want to
Money makes the world go round
(Said nuttin’ move but the money)
