If you’re looking to surprise your girl with some lingerie for Valentine’s day, you’re probably thinking of buying from either Victoria’s Secret or Frederick’s of Hollywood. Why not venture out a bit, and find something sexy at Japan’s Ravijour? Ravijour has a sweet and sexy style to them, and it’ll show that you put a little effort into getting the best for your babe (instead of heading down to your local mall).
If you happen to be in Japan, there’s one located in the famous Shibuya109 building, but for the rest of us, we’ll probably be doing our Ravijour shopping online.
Here’s a interesting tidbit for those who’ve never lived in Japan, on Valentine’s Day, women are the one’s to give gifts to men! Crazy eh? Don’t think the men are out of the doghouse though, because one month later on March 14th, “White Day,” is when men return the favor and give gifts to their ladies.
i might have to go to japan just for valentines day. too bad we cant impose that rule about women giving gifts to men here in canada and us.
That tradition would never fly here in the US! :(

This is a terrible idea. Ravijour is about the same price as Vistoria Secret but with none of the comfort. I’ve bought a few sets from Ravijour and their bras are the most hellishly itchy horrible things EVER. Plus the size chart is a bit fucked up and only goes up to 75 (this is a 36 in the US I believe) so if your girlfriend is bigger than that forget it. You basically pay $50 for the look since the straps are similar to shoe strings in both feel and look and the elastic isn’t covered so your girlfriend is bound to look hot with red itchy marks. There is the rare 20% that is comfortable to wear, but you won’t be able to tell by the online store sadly.
While they’re cheaper and not as good looking, amos style and aimer feel provide some fairly good looking lingerie and some actual comfort.
Question, did anyone manage to order from them outside of Japan? As far as I can see all the shipping info is Japan only…
