Rena Tanaka - Meeting at a Dark Place

25 year old actress, Rena Tanaka, will be taking on the role of a blind woman in the 2006 autumn movie, “Kuraitokorode Machiawase.” Kuraitokorode Machiawase which means Meeting at a Dark Place, shows Rena’s role of a young daughter who loses her father to illness. Shortly after she is rendered blind by an accident. Rena practiced hard for the role by blind folding herself while playing a piano. Sounds pretty close to what Jamie Fox did in “Ray”, but without the glued shut eyes.
